RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

PICKUP/DROP OFF:

NYC Snow Bus customers:  Pickup: No meed for in store pickups, your rental items will be on the bus waiting for you. Drop-off: Please place rental items back into pre-labeled envelopes and hand it to the bus rep upon your return check-in for the ride home.  If you miss the bus ride back home, items must be returned back to the store before closing. If you are staying at the mountain for more than 1 day, you must choose 4 day rental. 

In store pickup: Single day rentals can be picked up either the morning of your rental date or the night prior. If picking up the night prior, please call to confirm availability. Please note we usually open at 5AM on the weekends and 8AM on weekdays. 

Drop-off: Items picked up in-store must be returned in store. 

REFUND / CANCELLATIONS:

All orders cancelled 48 hours prior to rental date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48hrs prior to your rental date are subject to a 50% penalty. If you fail to pick up your rental item and/or miss the NYC Snow Bus that is loaded with your rental items, you will receive no refund.

Incomplete/Missing returns penalty:                                      

Goggles returned without their protective case are subject to a $10 charge for replacement case.  Gloves returned without inserts are subject to $20 charge for replacement inserts.                                         

DAMAGES:                                         

You are responsible for loss, destruction or damage to the Products due to theft, disappearance, fire, major irreparable stains or any other cause, other than normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear encompasses minor stains, rips, stuck zippers or other minor damage. If you return a Product that is damaged beyond normal wear and tear or missing valuable components such as the hood/inserts/waist gaiters for certain jackets and/or pants; inserts for certain gloves; or major cracks/scratches on goggles, then you agree that we shall charge you, and you shall pay, for the price for repairing or replacing the product, as determined in our discretion, up to the Retail Value for the Product.

Retail value for  jackets are $300; pants are $199; gloves are $99; and  goggles are $99

 

LATE FEES:                                        

If you return the Products late or not at all, a late fee of forty dollars ($40.00) will be charged to the payment card you used to pay the Rental Fee or to any other payment card included in your account information that you have provided to RRR, its subsidiaries, or partners for every day that you are late returning the Products, and you agree to pay such late fees, up to an amount not to exceed the Retail Value plus applicable sales tax (plus the Rental Fee).
